This policy applies to Wish Steps. Core check-in, wish, and progress features work without an account. Family sharing, photos, camera access, and notifications start only when a parent chooses them.
We do not sell personal information and do not use advertising identifiers.

Information we process
You may provide child nicknames, avatars, goals, check-ins, stars, wishes, rewards, family roles, invitations, and activity logs. We use them only to provide the corresponding features.
If you choose Apple Sign In, the account service processes the app-specific Apple user identifier and any name or email Apple provides. The Apple identity token is used only to verify sign-in.
When you enable family collaboration or cloud sync, family growth data is stored and synchronized through iCloud / CloudKit. We process only the photos you select for a wish and use the camera only when you scan a family invitation QR code.
Minimal product events exclude child names, photos, goals, wishes, and check-in notes and expire within 400 days. RevenueCat remains inactive during free launch: the app does not initialize it, fetch products, or poll purchase entitlements.

How information is used
Information supports goal check-ins, star rewards, wishes, growth insights, family invitations, cross-device sync, account registration and recovery, service security, and customer support.

Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Necessary data may be processed by Apple for Apple Sign In, App Store services, and iCloud / CloudKit. First-party services are limited to sign-in verification, account registration, and minimal product analytics.

Children’s privacy
Wish Steps is designed for family use. A parent or guardian should create and manage child-related data and should avoid entering unnecessary sensitive information.

Retention and deletion
Local data stays on the device. You can edit or delete child profiles, goals, wishes, and check-in records in the app.
Apple Sign In users can choose Delete Account & Data from the Me screen. Deletion removes local data, the linked family, and founding-family status. A deleted status is not restored by signing in again.

Permissions
Photos are used only to select a wish image; the camera is used only to scan a family invitation QR code; notifications are used for generic reminders after parental consent; Apple Sign In supports account services; iCloud supports family sync.
